Just a stupid idea! If I’m not mistaken a mask is not covering your eyes, the mouth, nose, and eyes are ways the virus is transmitted. Stay home! #btcwhatwouldyoudo? Hey guys there's a couple petitions going around to sign so salons can open for a "soft launch" by April 27th? Have you seen? Or signed?
( 🙋‍♀️ MORE INFO >>> )
They say in part ....
"a licensed beauty professional to perform a beauty service/ privately with one client in the salon / per stylist at a time Starting as of Monday, April 27, 2020. All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved by the state and the local Board of Health will be followed. Servicing one client at a time (while wearing a mask & gloves) poses little to no risk of spreading the virus, as compared to 20 or more people in a grocery store or 10 plus people at restaurants picking up food." What do guys think?? ( 🙋‍♀️ MORE INFO >>> )

[03/30/20]   Our official salons closure starts this Tuesday until April 30th...prayers for so many during this time!!!

In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Sarpy/Cass Health Department today issued a Directed Health Measure that includes directing businesses that cannot maintain a 6-foot distance to cease operations effective at 12:01 a.m. March 31.

The measure applies to massage therapy, tattoo shops, barbershops, hair/nail salons and other businesses in Sarpy and Cass Counties that cannot operate while maintaining a 6-foot distance.

“The Sarpy/Cass Health Department continues to collaborate with local and state government partners to monitor and respond to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation. Our collective priority is to ensure appropriate public health recommendations and requirements are in place to ensure our residents remain as healthy as possible,” the Health Department said in a press release.

The Directed Health Measure will remain in place until April 30.

“Our top priority is a health and safety of our residents,” said Sarpy County Board Chairman Don Kelly. “While we understand the hardship these restrictions put on dedicated, hardworking service professionals in our community, this is the right decision to help slow the spread of the virus. We highly encourage businesses to shut down as soon as possible, as we will begin enforcing this on Tuesday.”
[03/26/20]   Currently, salons in Sarpy county are being allowed to stay open. However, salons in surrounding counties throughout the state of Nebraska have been mandated by the governor to close.
They are closing the salons because for us as stylist it is hard to practice “social distancing” to do our jobs.
With these reasons stated above and for the health and safety of my clients, myself, and my family I have made a few adjustments to my normal process.

*I am not taking new clients or referrals.
*I have reduced my hours.
*And I have changed my scheduling to allow myself time to disinfect my salon in between clients.

As clients of Studio One please be patient with this process, it is quite overwhelming and if you are not feeling well, please reschedule. If there are changes, I will post.

Thank you and take care.
So true! * SRSLY THO - been training for this one since forever!! 🤣😉... @thevaultyl
