Hi there everyone! I received word today that the new DHMs have come out and they are mandating mask wearing in the salons again, starting Wednesday, November 11th. 😭
I know it's definitely not ideal, but it does allow me to keep my doors open. I appreciate each and every one of my clients and THANK YOU for always being so understanding!!
[08/06/20]   Hi there...I know everyone is super excited about the NO MASKS being required in the salons...it's been WONDERFUL!! I've thought long and hard about this...although I'm thrilled to not have to wear one, I'm going to still request that any clients who have travelled out of state (in the previous 2 weeks of their appointment) to still wear one.
I hope everyone understands...with other states being far more impacted than ours, I just feel that this is the best resolution to protect myself and my family. I have quite a few elderly clients, who I feel need protecting...and this is the best way I can think of to keep them safe.
SO EXTREMELY EXCITED to announce that our South West Nebraska Health Department has approved Phase 4 of opening up...which means FACEMASKS ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED!!! I will still have them on hand for anyone who does not feel safe or comfortable enough yet to go without, so if you'd prefer that I wear one for your appointment, just ask!

[04/26/20]   Yes- salon's will reopen- at some point- different for every state, every county, every salon.

What can CLIENTS do to help salons navigate a new 'normal' you ask?🤔

💥Know you were missed terribly and your stylists is grateful for your return....
💥Know safety measures were created for all involved.
💥Know the importance of coming alone, extra people in a salon compromises everyone.
💥Know your stylist cannot physically work 16 hour days 7 days a week, rest is essential for all..😴
💥Know your initial services will take more time. ⌚
💥Know that coming in sick isn't an option
💥Know that walk-ins will not be an option for some salons- call the salon before you leave home.📞
💥Know that rescheduling hundreds of clients will take time...🤔⌚
💥Know that when you arrive you will need to wait until your stylist gives you the go ahead before entering the building, having your cell phone handy in your car will help considerably.
💥Know that your stylist is thrilled to see you but doesn't want or need a hug, your presence is the best hug ever. 😷
💥Know that your health is the biggest concern.
💥Know that your stylist may choose to open at a later date than the state your in has allowed, being respectful of that decision takes an unimaginable load off his/ her brain and heart.
💥Know your stylist has already lost thousands of 💸💸 and has no desire to replace it with a ventilator for either of you, be patient. ❤
💥Know that if your health is already high risk, you need to wait, your health is more important..
💥Know that a 'soft opening ' will be anything but soft. 🙄
💥Know that your opinion of the entire situation won't change laws and rules necessary for everyone's safety are, keep the conversation to hair and how we can make you beautiful ❤
💥Know that while trying to connect with your stylist there are hundreds of others attempting the same thing, responses will be slow coming as your stylist is preparing everything and answering everyone simultaneously
💥Know, above all else, no one is more excited about your arrival than your stylist- help make it the best appointment ever!!!

[04/25/20]   Hi there everyone, we Cosmetologists in the SWNHD area have been informed of another push back for our opening dates. Tentative opening date will now be May 4th. I will be contacting all clients that are on my waiting list towards the end of next week to get everyone scheduled...FINALLY!! I greatly appreciate all of you who have been KINDOF waiting patiently! 😉😉
With this, some of the new health measures that we will have to abide by include...
1. Both myself and each client are REQUIRED to wear a face mask. Im sorry, but I'll have to ask each of you to bring/provide your own.
2. Depending on the service you are receiving, wearing gloves might not be an option...I will ask that everyone coming in, to please wash their hands.
3. Only one person is allowed to come to each appointment. If you are coming to your appointment and I still have the client ahead of you in the salon, please wait in your car until I am ready for you. Once I have everything cleaned up and disinfected, I will wave you in 😁

[04/10/20]   Hi there everyone! As of today, the governor has mandated salon closures statewide. As of right now, as I understand, our county will be closed until April 30th. I will be contacting all of my clients who have appointments scheduled soon to discuss rescheduling options. If you do NOT have something scheduled already, please feel free to contact me and I can get you on the waiting list. As soon as I know FOR SURE when we are allowed to open again, I can begin the process of rescheduling.
I appreciate each and every single one of my clients...you all mean so much to me! Thank you for being so understanding at this time! I pray everyone stays healthy...I look forward to chatting with all of you soon!!
Good Morning everyone! With the expanding COVID-19 Pandemic, I thought I would share what I received in the mail this weekend. Most of these policies have been in effect at the salon for several weeks now, but I will now have a sign posted as well. Also, at this time, I will not be accepting any new clients. I apologize for any inconvenience, but I feel better knowing exactly who I'm letting in my door.
Please, if you are feeling unwell (even just STARTING to) please let me know so that we can get you rescheduled. I promise that I will do the same for you!

[03/17/20]   Hello all!! I hope this finds everyone healthy! With all of this Corona Virus craziness happening, I've had numerous people asking if I will have the salon open...and as of right now, the answer is YES. I will be doubling down on sanitizing and will have my trusty LYSOL in hand! With that being said, if any of you start to not feel well AT ALL...PLEASE let me know and we can get you rescheduled! I would much rather keep us both safe and healthy...than have you feeling like you're "inconveniencing" me by cancelling, and I will do the same. I never like to have to call and reschedule anyone, but if I am feeling under the weather, I'd rather not share anything with my clients.
Everything with this Pandemic seems pretty up in the air, so I will keep you all updated with any changes. I appreciate all of my clients so much and your health and wellness is a top priority to me. Thank you all for understanding...TAKE CARE ♡

[01/05/20]   Hello all, Kodi here! I've been waiting until after the craziness of the holidays to make my Salon Announcement 😁 As most of my clients know, my kiddos are getting closer to graduating and I need to have more time to focus on them and their activities. With such a large (salon) building, the maintenance is so time consuming sometimes...therefore, I've decided to downsize! I'm beyond excited to get myself moved to a smaller space and have more time to spend with my family! I've been talking/thinking about this for quite some time and with my lease agreement coming to a close on my current location, it was perfect timing to make it happen!
I'm currently working on the new building and most likely won't be in until early/mid February, so all appointments will still be at our current location 😁
I am absolutely thrilled and CAN NOT WAIT for my clients and friends to see my new place!! More details (and maybe a few sneak peeks) will be coming in the next few weeks!! STAY TUNED!! ♡♡♡
